How does padme amidala really die
Due to the strict Jedi regulations that forbade marriage, the young couple wed in secret on Naboo and had to put considerable effort towards keeping the depth of their relationship away from public knowledge. When Vader uses the Force to crush physical objects, you can see the damage that he does despite him not having any physical contact with said objects. The way those two scenes cut back and forth from one another really solidify that theory for me.
By draining her life force and transferring it to Vader, Palpatine ensured that he would be able to achieve at least some level of serviceability from the apprentice that he devoted so much time and energy to gain. Of course, none of that has ever been confirmed as of yet! Something far more tangible than just her losing the will to live presumably due to a broken heart. Something more befitting of the spirit of her character.

Some say she sacrificed herself for Anakin. But the theory of she died with a broken heart makes more sense. Legends isn't canon! So if legends states that Padme died from Anakins force choke it doesn't count.
Besies the medical robot who worked at the hospital Padme died at and where Luke and Leiah were born at informed Obi-Wan and Yoda that Padme wasn't dying from any physicals wounds but from a broken heart which baffled the droid sine according to him Padme didn't even have any minor injuries.
And I do agree that Palpatine was also responseble for Padme's death as he was the one who encouraged Anakin's horrendous acts. Legends is canon to its own timeline, and was canon back in its day. So if someone does ask how she died in the Legends continuity, it absolutely does count. Seeing as the Hyroid is right near thyroid which produces hormones crucial to a safe birthing process.
