What do bombs do in candy crush

I posted this in the "Beat Timed Levels" section, but I'll put it here, too: When you are playing for a high score, be aware that successfully matching a bomb is a REALLY high score compared to all the other types of matches you can get.

If you can manage to work within their move-counters without letting them go off, you can really get your score high. I didn't understand that at first, so I was trying to play really quickly and got all agitated. No need. Slow down and just watch out for how many moves you are making. Question: Does using one of the special helpers count as a move?

Like the Lollipop smasher, or the teeth chomper things? I think I've notices that it does NOT count in the regular counter like when you have 20 moves to clear the level and it counts down each move , but I'm not sure if bombs are the same or not. If you match a sprinkle candy with a striped candy, it does an even greater amount of damage to the board.

It turns all candies of that color into striped candies, exploding entire lines of candy either vertically or horizontally from them. If you knock a sprinkle candy into a bomb candy, it will turn other candies of that color into bombs for a greater effect.

If you complete a match with a bomb candy, it will knock out at least 9 of the surrounding candies. They're great for clearing out specific, pesky areas. But what happens if you match two sprinkle candies together? The best thing ever. Every candy on the board is wiped out. Note: this does not wipe out licorice those black things in the screenshot below. We'll get to licorice in a second. As you progress in the game, new challenging features arise.

The chocolate appears at level 51 and it spreads like a cancer if you don't get rid of it. But be careful not no crush the middle purple in this example candy or you will end up with just a stripped candy.

Once a green candy lines up in the middle of the two sets of green candies, then you can move it over and create the color bomb. The same goes for a horizontal 2 pair set up. When you see two sets of candies in a vertical position you can also use this to easily create a color bomb in candy crush. You can either crush candies in the middle of the two sets vertically moveing down the column in the middle of the two candies until you come upon a candy that will work to make your color bomb.

You can also move candies around above the horizontal set up until you get one in the right position. The number on the inside of the candy bomb corresponds to the number of moves you have to clear the bomb before it explodes.

When a candy bomb explodes, the turn ends and you lose a life. In levels, even when all candy bombs are cleared on the board, new ones can drop down.

Candy bombs can also be contained in other blockers, like licorice Xs.
