What is the difference between gameboy advance and gameboy color

The only other real drawback to the SP is the lack of a standard headphone jack. And while this is annoying, a cheap headphone adapter see link for pricing on Amazon does solve this problem. The Micro has the brightest and most vivid screen out of any GBA iteration. So, if the best display is what you are looking for, the Micro easily has that. And oh yeah, it has a headphone jack! While the Micro did return the headphone jack to the GBA family of consoles, it requires an adaptor to connect to SP or original Advance handhelds.

We did manage to track them down on eBay , but they are going for quite a bit of money. Lastly, the Micro is easily the most expensive console in the GBA family. With its incredibly small form factor and limited release, the Game Boy Micro is more of a collectible these days — and its price tag reflects that fact. Nintendo originally produced GameBoy Color units with berry, dandelion, grape, kiwi and teal hardware colors, and later produced an "atomic purple" unit. In comparison, the original GameBoy Advance SP units came in one of two colors: platinum and cobalt blue.

Later unit colors would include flame, graphite, midnight blue, onyx, pearl blue and pearl pink. Just like a standard GameBoy unit, the Nintendo GameBoy Color unit has a candy-bar or block form factor, which means it has no sliding or folding parts. Doing so will unlock special featues and bonuses. Please note that the Game Boy Advance does not work with Nintendo GameCube unless the game developer has specifically integrated this feature into their game. It stands for special. Though the performance is exactly the same as that of the original Game Boy Advance, the Game Boy Advance SP has a flashier design and an internal light. These cartridges are dirty as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore! MUCH more comfy in my not-too-big hands. My Reviews Page on GameRevolution.

Unfortunately, there is a heavy amount of suckage when it comes to the games on both systems. The GBA just has a lot more games that are really good. You are startled by a grim snarl. Before you, you see 1 Red dragon. Will your stalwart band choose to F ight or R un? GBC didn't seem to have much anything outside of Pokemon.

GBA baby! GBA without question. I personally can't think of one thing that Color has to offer over Advance. Better design, and better games for what the hardware could do. Ummm, Advance it can do all that the Game Boy color can and more!

The SP just makes it even better! I'd like to see more companies take advantage of the SPs true power. The bigger the library, the better the system.
